In spite of aerial photos showing the former state, all of the buildings are now gone and the property is slated for development as residential condominiums. Plans call for 28 condominium homes and 26 new slips. Construction will soon begin. Slip sizes range from about 44 feet in length to over 54 feet. Slips will be improved and will be sold with condominium homes. For information on the new project click on Mariners Cove. Slips west of the haul-out bay, will be leased for the 2002 boating season in their current state. Initially, bathroom facilities will be port-a-potties, but in mid-summer new bathrooms and showers should be ready.
